Summer Camps

Every week offers a new theme. Students will create drawings, painting, sculptures, and textiles while building self-esteem, and have fun.

For grades 3-5. Register based on your child’s rising grade.

Held at ArtCentre Plano weekdays from 9am-noon.

All classes are $245 per student, per week, with the exception of the short week for July 4 at $215.

An artistic focus on all things fuzzy, furry, or covered in feathers! Projects include drawing animals, painting with texture and expression, and creating your own sculptural pet.
We’ll create wildflowers and wilderness with pencils and paint, take nature walks, and create three-dimensional art with pressed flowers.
These projects will sparkle! Metallic watercolor paintings, a star-shaped sculpture, and glow-in-the-dark accessories are some of this week’s patriotic creations.
All the colors connect in this bright and joyful celebration of the rainbow. Your child will learn color theory and work with a variety of mediums to create uplifting art they will be proud of.
Take a deep dive into an aquatic, artistic adventure! Students will focus on aquatic creatures of the deep, creating multiple drawings, paintings and textile creations inspired by the ocean.

Art is for Everyone, Always

Everyone starts out loving art. So then what happens? Around the end of elementary school, we start comparing our work to others, maybe getting embarrassed, and deciding we’re not good enough to be “artists.” The goal of North Texas Visual Arts is to get everyone creating, and to keep the joy of creating alive for a lifetime. We’ll give you the confidence to create - whether it’s for the first time, or it’s been a long time. You’ve got this.
